Summer always reminds me of marine designs; stripes&dots, red&blue colours...
Yaz bana her zaman denizci desenlerini hatırlatır; çizgili&puantiyeliler, kırmızı&mavi renkler....

When Natalie contacted me for a pair of "funky sailor" themed handpainted wedding shoes, I knew these would be so cool! :)
Natalie benimle bir çift el boyama "havalı denizci" düğün ayakkabısı için iletişime geçtiğinde bunun çok cool olacağını biliyordum! :)

She is getting married in a war ship and her husband works in the navy, so she was looking for a 50s style marine theme with red&blue&yellow colours and low heeled model with peep toes.
Bir savaş gemisinde evleniyor ve eşi donanmada çalışıyor, bu yüzden de kırmızı&mavi&sarı renklerin ağırlıkta olduğu 50ler stili denizci teması arıyordu ve alçak topuklu burnu açık bir model istiyordu.

She came with the idea that I could picture them as "Popeye sailorman" and "Betty Boop" and I loved the idea as they have always been my favourites when I was a child. :)
Onları "Denizci Temel Reis" ile "Betty Boop" olarak resmedebileceğimi öne sürdüğünde bu fikri çok sevdim çünkü bu karakterler çocukken hep en sevdiklerimden olmuştu. :)

Besides, Popeye had the vintage sailor style already and Betty would look so pretty in a sexy red sailor costume ;)
Ayrıca, Temel Reis'in vintage denizci havası zaten vardı ve Betty seksi kırmızı bir denizci elbisesi içinde çok güzel görünecekti. ;)

As they both had a lot of tattoos, we decided to use some figures typical for sailor tattoos on the shoes as well; I painted nautical stars at backs and wrote their names in yellow banners around them, I placed an old sailboat and a blue swallow. Concept is completed with small compass and anchor figures.
Çiftin bolca dövmeleri olduğundan, denizci dövmelerinde sık kullanılan desenlere ayakkabılarda yer vermeyi tercih ettik; arkalarda gemici yıldızları boyayıp etrafındaki sarı şeritler içine adlarını yazdım, eski bir yelkenli ile mavi bir kırlangıç yerleştirdim.Topuklarda minik pusula ve çapa figürleri ile konsepti tamamladım. 

I believe I managed to create the "funky sailor" bridal shoes she was looking for ;)

Ship Ahoy!!! Frances&Joe are getting married on a ship in Chicago! :)

Gemi Geliyor!!! Frances&Joe Chicago'da bir gemide evleniyorlar! :)

She chose 10cm ivory coloured heels, peep toes and wanted me to create a tropcial island theme on one shoe, the other one would be a city-wedding. 

10cm. topuklu burnu açık, sedefli kırık beyaz modelde karar kıldı ve benden ayakkabıların tekinde tropik ada teması yaratmamı istedi, diğer ayakkabı şehir düğünü konulu olacaktı.

Joe proposed to Frances on the Aruba beach, so I tried to create a trpic beach atmosphere with palm trees and seashells on one shoe.

Joe Frances'a Aruba plajında evlenme teklif etmiş, bu sebeple ben de tek ayakkabı üzerinde palmiye ağaçları ve deniz kabukları ile tropik kumsal havası yaratmaya çalıştım. 

On the front, you can see him offering her a huge diamond ring out of an oyster :) They are both in sailor clothes. 

Önde, erkeği bir istiridye içinden dev tek taş verirken resmettim :) İkisi de denizci giysileri giyiyor.

The other shoe has the magnificent Chicago skyline on the side and on the front pictures bride&groom kissing on a boat.

Diğer ayakkabı yan tarafında muhteşem Chicago şehir siluetini taşıyor ve önde öpüşen gelinle damat bir kayıkta gidiyor.

Shiny red starfish at backs have their names&wedding date on them.
Arkalarda kırmızı parlak deniz yıldızları isimlerini&düğün tarihini taşıyor.
