Shoes for a Friend's Wedding...

I painted bridal shoes for a friend's wedding this week :) It was double fun; to design for someone I know and see how happy she was when I delivered her shoes...

Güneş(meaning the Sun) is an old friend of mine, who is getting married this September. She started with the shoes first to prepare for her upcoming wedding :) I was excited when she contacted me to ask for a customized pair; painted with pastel shades and designed with cute details...
Güneş, bu Eylül'de evlenecek olan eski bir arkadaşım. Yaklaşan düğünü için hazırlıklara önce ayakkabılardan başladı :) Benden pastel tonlarla boyanan ve minik devimli detaylarla tasarlanan kişiselleşirilmiş bir çift ayakkabı istemek için iletişime geçtiğinde çok heyecanlandım...

She likes simple elegance and her basic shoe model preference was 12cm heels with 2.5cm platforms in matte white leather. She wanted to have "just married" on blush hearts on the heels. I wrote their names with the wedding date on 1 platform and "Happily ever after" on the other platform, with a lovely sun figure nearby. ;)
Sade şıklıktan hoşlanıyordu ve tercihi 12cm. topuklu, 2,5cm. platformlu beyaz deri modelden yana oldu. Topuklarda pudra kalpler üzerinde "just married" istiyordu. Bir platforma isimleriyle birlikte düğün tarihini yazdım, diğerine ise "Happily ver after" yanında sevimli bir güneş figürü kondırrdum. ;)

On 1 shoe; I pictured them as kissing bride&groom with pink, lilac and yellow balloons. A bird couple is pictured next to them, light blue clouds, pretty roses and tiny hearts complete the look. On the other shoe; I pictured them as cartoon characters toasting champagne glasses for celebration. :) Champagne bottle, wedding rings, hearts and clouds all around...
Tek ayakkabıda onları öpüşen gelin&damat olarak resmettim; pembe, lila ve sarı balonlarla. Yanlarında aşık kuşlar boyandı, açık mavi bulutlar, güzel güller ve minik kalplerle tamamlandı. Diğer ayakkabıda; çifti karikatür karakterler olarak resmettim, kutlama için şampanya kadehleri kaldırmışlar :) Şampanya şişesi, alyanslar, kalpler ve bulutlar etrafında...

Their initials are added on small pink hearts on both soles and names of all the girls who want to get married soon, to be written on the soles... ;)
Baş harfleri tabanlara küçük pembe kalpler üzerine eklendi ve evlenmek isteyen kızların isimlerinin yazılacağı darısı başına listesi hazırlandı... ;)
